TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. BUYER’S PREMIUM & PAYMENT TERMS

A 20% Buyer’s Premium will be added to all winning bids to determine the final purchase price.

Unless prior arrangements are made, the credit card on file with HiBid will be charged automatically at the close of the auction. Alternative payment methods including cash, wire transfer, cashier’s check, or money order must be approved prior to auction close.

Invoices over $500 paid by credit card require buyer verification, including a copy of driver’s license and written authorization. Invoices over $1,500 must be paid by wire transfer.

A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments. A $25 wire transfer fee applies to all wire payments.

All invoices must be paid in full prior to item removal and by the deadline stated in the auction listing. A $25 no-show/non-payment fee may apply. All sales are final with no refunds.

2. AUCTIONEER’S RIGHTS & DISCRETION

Harris Real Estate & Auction reserves the right to add, delete, combine, or modify lots at any time prior to auction close.

The auctioneer may adjust sale dates, times, or details due to technical issues, weather, or emergencies. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.

All bids are legally binding contracts. All lots are sold subject to seller confirmation unless stated as absolute.

3. PICKUP, LOADING & REMOVAL

Items must be paid in full prior to pickup and removed during the scheduled pickup time.

Buyers are responsible for all labor, equipment, loading, and transportation. Harris Real Estate & Auction is not responsible for accidents, damages, or injuries during removal.

Items not picked up by the deadline may be considered abandoned and forfeited without refund.

4. SHIPPING

Shipping is available only if stated in the lot description.

Shipping charges, insurance, and a $6.99 handling fee will be charged to the card on file. Harris Real Estate & Auction is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.

5. SALES TAX

Applicable sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption form is submitted prior to auction close.

6. PROPERTY CONDITION

All items sell AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties or guarantees. Descriptions are believed accurate but not guaranteed.

7. BIDDING PROCESS

Bidders must be 18 years of age or older with a valid HiBid account.

Any bid placed within two minutes of closing will extend bidding for that lot by two minutes.

8. DEFAULT & COLLECTION

Failure to pay or remove items will result in default. Harris Real Estate & Auction may pursue legal remedies, block bidders, and recover collection costs.

9. LIABILITY

Harris Real Estate & Auction’s liability is limited to the return of funds paid for items not received. No liability for incidental or consequential damages.

10. BIDDER RESPONSIBILITIES

Bidders are responsible for account activity and compliance with all laws. By bidding, bidders authorize charges to the card on file and agree to jurisdiction in a court of competent jurisdiction.
