Primary Payment Method: Unless prior arrangements are made, the credit card on file with HiBid will be charged automatically at the close of the auction. Alternative Payment Methods (Must Be Arranged PRIOR to Auction Close):Cash, Wire Transfer, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order may be accepted only if approved in advance.
Credit Card Limits & Requirements: Invoices over $500 paid by credit card require buyer verification.Buyers must email a copy of their driver’s license and written approval to run the credit card prior to processing.Invoices over $1,500 must be paid by wire transfer. Credit cards will not be accepted for balances exceeding this amount.
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.Wire Transfer Fee:A $25 wire transfer fee applies to all wire payments.

2. Auctioneer’s Rights & Discretion
-Harris Real Estate & Auction reserves the right to add, delete, edit, combine, subdivide, or re-catalog lots at any time before the auction closes.
-The auctioneer may modify sale dates, times, or details in the event of technical issues, weather, or emergencies.
-The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid for any reason.
-Harris Real Estate & Auction employees and associates may bid for themselves or on behalf of absentee or proxy bidders.
-All accepted bids constitute a legally binding contract between the bidder and the seller.
-All lots are sold subject to seller confirmation unless the auction is announced as absolute.
3. Pickup, Loading & Removal
-Purchased items must be paid for in full before pickup.
-Items must be picked up on the date and time specified in the auction details.
-Buyers are solely responsible for rigging, loading, dismantling, securing, transporting, and unloading their items.
-Harris Real Estate & Auction does not provide labor or equipment for loading and assumes no liability for injuries, damages, or losses during removal.
Buyers must verify all purchased items are present before leaving the pickup site, as items left behind are considered abandoned and forfeited without refund.
4. Shipping
-Shipping may be offered only if explicitly stated in the lot description.
-When shipping is available, the buyer’s registered Hibid credit card will be charged for shipping costs, insurance, and a $6.99 handling fee.
-Harris Real Estate & Auction is not responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, or missing once in transit.
-It is the buyer’s responsibility to file insurance claims directly with the carrier.
-Buyers must ensure that their shipping address on Hibid is current and accurate before the auction closes.
5. Sales Tax & Exemption
-Applicable sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption form is provided.
-To claim exemption, bidders must email a completed exemption form to online@harrisauctions.com prior to the auction’s close.
-A separate form must be submitted for each auction event.
6. Property Condition & Inspection
-All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
-Descriptions and photos are provided in good faith, but Harris Real Estate & Auction makes no representations or warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or condition.
-It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect items in person or review photos and descriptions carefully before placing bids.
-Once a bid is placed, the bidder acknowledges they are satisfied with the item’s condition.
7. Bidding Process & Auction Closing
-All bidders must be 18 years of age or older and maintain an active Hibid account with a valid credit card.
-any bid placed within two (2) minutes of the auction closing time will extend bidding for that lot by two (2) minutes, ensuring fair competition.
-Bidders may receive outbid notifications by email, but Harris Real Estate & Auction is not responsible for delays in email delivery.
-Bidders are encouraged to monitor the auction close or place maximum bids to ensure participation.
-Bidding increments are automatically set by the auction software.
8. Default & Collection
-If purchases are not paid for and removed by the specified deadline, the bidder will be considered in default.
-Defaulting bidders may be blocked from future auctions, and unpaid items may be offered to the next highest bidder.
-The bidder agrees to pay all reasonable attorney’s fees, collection costs, and expenses incurred in the enforcement of payment.
-By bidding, the bidder personally guarantees payment and performance, even if bidding on behalf of a business or other entity.
9. Liability Limitation
-Harris Real Estate & Auction’s total liability is limited to the return of any funds paid for items not delivered at pickup.

-Bidders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password and for all activity conducted under their account.
-Offensive or inappropriate usernames may be altered or removed.
