TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. BUYER’S PREMIUM & PAYMENT
A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to all winning bids to determine the final purchase price.
The credit card on file with Hibid will be automatically charged at the close of the auction unless prior arrangements are made.
Alternative payment methods (must be approved prior to auction close):
Cash, wire transfer, cashier’s check, or money order.
- Invoices over $500 require ID verification
- Invoices over $1,500 must be paid by wire transfer
- 3% credit card processing fee applies
- $25 wire transfer fee applies
All invoices must be paid in full prior to item removal. All sales are final.
2. AUCTIONEER’S RIGHTS
Harris Real Estate & Auction reserves the right to add, delete, combine, or modify lots at any time.
The auctioneer may adjust sale dates or terms due to technical issues, weather, or other circumstances.
All bids are binding contracts. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
3. PICKUP & REMOVAL
Items must be paid in full prior to pickup and removed during the scheduled pickup time.
Buyers are responsible for all labor, loading, and transportation. No assistance will be provided.
Items not picked up will be considered abandoned with no refund.
4. SHIPPING
Shipping is only available if stated in the lot description.
Buyer’s card will be charged for shipping, insurance, and handling. Harris Real Estate & Auction is not responsible for loss or damage in transit.
5. SALES TAX
Applicable sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption form is submitted prior to auction close.
6. PROPERTY CONDITION
All items sell AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.
Buyers are responsible for inspection prior to bidding.
7. BIDDING TERMS
Bidders must be 18 years or older with a valid Hibid account.
Any bid placed in the final 2 minutes will extend bidding by 2 minutes.
8. DEFAULT
Failure to pay or remove items constitutes default.
Defaulting bidders may be banned and held responsible for all collection costs and fees.
9. LIABILITY
Harris Real Estate & Auction is not liable for damages, loss, or injury related to the auction or removal process.
10. BIDDER RESPONSIBILITY
Bidders are responsible for all activity under their account and must comply with all applicable laws.
11. AGREEMENT
By registering and bidding, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms & Conditions.
